Who we are
We're a Florida company that equips the next generation of first responders. We're small on purpose, honest to a fault, and growing fast enough that the person we hire this month will help decide what we look like next year.
Our Vision
To transform EMS education by ensuring every student has the tools they need to succeed.
Our Mission
To equip students with clinical kits that empower them to gain practical, hands-on experience from day one — ensuring they are fully “Prepared to Save Lives.”
Why we do this
Every EMT and paramedic student who buys one of our kits is trusting us to help them become a first responder who's actually ready. That's the whole company in one sentence — we build the tools, but the mission is the person on the other end of them.
I started MedTech because I believed every student deserves the tools to succeed, not just the ones who can afford the best gear. A lot of lessons later, that's still the standard: not “good” — elite.
If you join us, you'll be surrounded by people who work hard, tell the truth even when it's inconvenient, and do the “unsexy” work because students and patients are counting on us to get it right. We move fast, but we hold the line on Excellence in Every Detail — and we treat mistakes as tuition, not a reason for fear, as long as you own them and help us fix the system so they don't happen twice.
That's the deal: bring the effort, own your outcomes, and I'll have your back. I'm excited to see what we build together.

The first-responder ethos
Our values are deeply ingrained in the first-responder ethos.
Others Before Self
The student, the client, and the team win before ego.
- We protect end users first: students, and ultimately patients.
- We create a culture of care, respect, and collaboration.
- We challenge ideas, not people, and we do it directly and respectfully.
- We do the unsexy work so others can do their best work.
Empowerment Through Education
If you're not learning, you're falling behind.
- We believe in the power of education to change lives.
- We create a culture where if you're learning, you're growing.
- We recognize everyone has to start somewhere.
- We reward the effort of those who educate others.
- Not being good at something is a skill deficiency.
Excellence in Every Detail
“Looks fine” is failure. “I checked” is the standard.
- We assume something is wrong until we verify it.
- We double-check everything.
- We speak up immediately when we see a miss, even if it's “not my job.”
- Clients will notice when you call out details.
- Greatness is achieved through an eye of detail.
What we actually do
Our values describe who we are. These eight principles describe what we do — every day, in every role. They are simple on purpose. None of them require talent, budget, or permission. They only require that you decide to do them.
Showing up early
Early is on time. On time is late.- Be set up before the day starts and on the call before the other person joins.
- Early buys you margin to fix what went wrong before anyone else notices it.
- Showing up early is a decision you make the night before, not the morning of.
Preparing the night before
Tomorrow is won tonight.- Line up tomorrow's work tonight — what you'll need, in the order you'll need it.
- Review who you are meeting, what they bought last time, and what you owe them.
- Anything done the night before is one less thing that can fail in the morning.
Remembering everyone's name
Names are how you show people they matter.- Write it down the moment you hear it, and get it into HubSpot before you leave the conversation.
- Program directors, coordinators, and the front-desk person who signs for the shipment — all of them.
- A customer greeted by name does not go shopping for another vendor.
Saying “no” to opportunities that don't bring value to your life
Every yes spends time you cannot get back.- Not every lead is our customer, not every product belongs in the catalog, and not every meeting needs to happen.
- Saying no to the wrong thing is how you protect your capacity to be great at the right thing.
- If you cannot say how it moves the mission, you already have your answer.
Following up quickly
Speed is the cheapest advantage we have.- Same day beats next day. A response inside one business day is the floor, not the goal.
- The fastest answer often wins the deal no matter what the price is.
- Quick does not mean finished — acknowledge now, solve after.
Following up multiple times
Most business is won after the first no answer.- One email is not a follow-up. Sequences exist for a reason; work them all the way through.
- Silence is almost never rejection. It is a busy person.
- Keep going until you get a yes or an actual no.
Delivering value at every interaction
Never touch a customer without leaving them better off.- Every call, email, and visit should hand them something: an answer, an idea, a fix, or a resource.
- “Just checking in” is not value. Bring something.
- This is what makes persistent follow-up welcome instead of annoying.
Not making the same mistake twice
A mistake is tuition. A repeat is waste.- Own it, understand exactly why it happened, then change the system so it cannot happen again.
- Write the fix into the SOP so the next person never makes the mistake at all.
- We have high grace for effort and no tolerance for the same failure twice.

We write everything down
Guiding Principle #8 says never make the same mistake twice — and the way we actually do that is by writing the fix into the system. We keep an internal Docs Hub covering everything from onboarding to how each product line works, and even a written CEO Operating Manual on how to work with our leadership team. We don't publish that manual here — it's blunt, personal, and written for people already on the inside — but its existence is the point: if it matters, we've written it down, and you won't be handed a login and left to figure it out. More on that on our How We Work page.
